Afterwards, a joint press conference was held with the authorities. Spring Seasonal and Temporary Train Operation Plan Announced 1/27
Announced the outline of spring seasonal and extra trains to be operated during the 4-month period from March lu-su to June 30.
A total of 10,046 seasonal trains (109% of the previous year's total) will be operated during this period, including 5,036 Shinkansen trains (119% of the previous year's total) and 5,010 limited express trains on conventional lines (101% of the previous year's total), mainly on Shinkansen trains, and with an emphasis on the spring vacations, when the spring equinox falls on a "skipping stone" weekend, and the second half of the three consecutive holidays during "Golden Week". Focusing on the second half of the "Spring Holiday" and "Golden Week," which is a three-day holiday weekend.

The Chiba Railway Administration announced the disposition of the Chiba Workers' Union for the illegal strike from November 28th to the 29th of last year.
20 members dismissed under Article 18 of the Public Labor Law
5 employees were suspended for 6 months, and 23 for 3 months.
3 months (1/10) pay cut = 32, 1 month (1/10) pay cut = 33
Warning = 6 and admonition = 1, for a total of 120 employees.
In handing down the punishment, President Sugiura stated, "In order to achieve reform of Japan National Railways, we need the deep understanding and support of our customers and the public more than anything else, but this strike has greatly undermined that understanding and support, and we deeply regret it. We have decided to take strict measures in light of the law, taking these points into consideration.
